| Description | Women Environmental Programme (WEP) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, non-religions and voluntary organization formed in April 1997 by a group of women in Kaduna State and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria in 2003. WEP's is to create a society where the environmental, economic, social and political rights of women and youths are protected. The Kingdom of Netherlands has made a financial contribution to Women Environmental Programme (WEP) for the implementation of the project: “Ensuring Effective Implementation of Programmes, Policies and Legislations, that Contribute Towards Achieving Gender Equality in Nigeria by 2030.” This project is to be implemented between November, 2016 and December, 2020 in Benue and Zamfara states of Nigeria |
