We are autonomous, non-partisan organization registered on 10th January 2023 under the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) as a new entity with an independent Board of Directors. HelpAge Tanzania (HAT) is a dedicated organization committed to improving the well-being and quality of life of older people and people with disabilities (PWDs) in Tanzania. Operating as part of the HelpAge International network, HAT brings decades of experience in advocacy, program implementation, and capacity building to empower older people and People with disabilities to live with dignity, secure, and healthy life. OUR VISION A world where every older people and people with a disability can lead a dignified, healthy and secure life. OUR MISSION: To promote and protect the rights, well-being, and dignity of older people and people with disabilities to reduce poverty and discrimination in later life through advocacy, capacity building, and partnerships. |
