| Description | The Foundation Support for Development (Stiftelsen Stöd för Utveckling) is a Swedish Foundation with the purpose of improving living conditions of people living in poverty in developing countries and marginalised persons in Sweden. The Foundation, which was started in 2009, is politically independent and non-religious. The Foundation Support for Development achieves its goals by financing activities of efficient and transparent non-profit organisations working for poverty alleviation, respect for human rights and support to sustainable livelihoods, protection of the environment and climate adaptation/mitigation. All activities supported shall be based on the principle of the equal value of all people, and shall promote gender equality, democratic values, environmental protection and sustainable approaches for people and the planet. The Foundation does not accept any forms of discrimination or corruption. |
