Teamwork spirit\nOur Work\nIDS implements integrated community development programmes that promote sustainable livelihoods, environmental conservation, climate resilience, and social inclusion. The organization partners with communities and other development stakeholders to address the root causes of poverty while enhancing the sustainable management of natural resources.\nCurrently, IDS is implementing the Agroforestry and Biodiversity Conservation for Climate-Resilient Livelihood Improvement (ABILI) Project under the ASILI-B CC Programme in Tarime and Butiama Districts of Mara Region. The project focuses on promoting agroforestry, biodiversity conservation, climate-smart agriculture, and community resilience to climate change, contributing to improved livelihoods and sustainable natural resource management.\nOver the three-year implementation period, the project is expected to directly reach 4,995 beneficiaries, including 3,045 farmers (1,832 women, 825 men, and 386 youth comprising 193 female youth and 193 male youth) and 1,950 school pupils (980 girls and 970 boys).","exclusions_policy_url":"","first_publication_date":"2026-08-14T20:15:00+00:00","hq_country":"TZ","organisation_identifier":"TZ-NNCB-00NGOR0266","organisation_type":"22","region":"298","reporting_source_type":null,"website":"https://ids.or.tz"}
