The organization\nwas established, registered and become fully functioning in early 2007 as Manyara Region Civil Society Organizations (MACSNET) with reg\nNo 09NGO/0001385 after which in 2019 transformed to Civic Social Protection Foundation (CSP) with registration No 00NGO/00010158 to\nreflect amendments made to the NGO act in the same year 2019.\nThe amendments to the organization were recommended and supported by members given the fact that there were high demand and need\nfrom the community following several challenges relating to protection of vulnerable groups including youth, women, children and elderly\nat community level in Tanzania.
